Touch Southland Junior Development Teams
All children aged 9-13 in Southland & Queenstown who play in a Touch Southland Primary & Intermediate School Module have the opportunity to further develop and play in four regional tournaments in term four each year.
Any parent/ caregiver wishing for their child to play in a Touch Southland Primary & Intermediate Development team in term four will need to complete an online form (above)
Touch Southland will then arrange players into teams in their local area. For these teams to proceed they will require a coach/manager. Teams will practise straight after the Primary & Intermediate School Module in their local area once a week, Touch Southland will be able to provide support to coaches through digital resources and sessions as well as in person support when possible. The Four tournaments take place in Winton & Queenstown. Touch Southland will provide all Primary & Intermediate Development teams with playing tops as well as touch balls & cones. Players will also have the opportunity to purchase a touch southland hoodie & t-shirt (info & costs can be found in online form)
